Gaurav Pandey

Gaurav Pandey is Managing Director & CEO of Godrej Properties, and has been with the company since 2017. He focuses on expanding the company’s development portfolio and strengthening execution, guided by its purpose of crafting spaces that spark joy, one community, one family, one home at a time.

He brings over 20 years of experience in the real estate sector and has previously worked at Burman GSC as CEO and at PropEquity as Senior Vice President. He began his journey at Godrej as CEO for the North Zone, where he transformed the business and built a high-performance team, delivering strong growth in booking value, collections, and returns.

Through his career, Gaurav has advised stakeholders, been part of the Management Committee of Ascendas India, and co-anchored the Property Show on NDTV. He serves as Co-Chair of the Committee on Urban Development and Real Estate.

He holds an Economics (Honours) degree from the University of Delhi and has done a postgraduate course from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode.

Gaurav has been a CEO Council member of The Wall Street Journal since 2024, and was recognised among The World’s Most Influential Decision Makers by The Wall Street Journal CEO Council in 2024 and 2025. He has been recognised as Real Estate Person of the Year by Construction Week Awards 2025, and as the CEO of the Year at the Construction Times BAM Awards 2025. He was also honoured as Iconic Brand Leader at the Realty+ India Brand Leadership Conclave & Awards 2025 and named one of Business World's Most Valuable CEOs. In addition, he was bestowed with the Pride of India award at the Construction Week Awards 2024. Earlier, in 2022, he was recognised as the Realty Personality of the Year by The Economic Times at the Real Estate Conclave & Awards (North).
