Jishnu Batabyal

Jishnu Batabyal is Group Head – Business Development at Godrej Industries Group, a role he has held since 2024. He leads the Group’s business development agenda, overseeing M&A and value creation opportunities, exploring new growth platforms, incubating new businesses, and managing the Godrej Industries Group Family Office and investments.

An experienced business strategist, he brings expertise in growth strategy, private equity, post-merger integration, and transformation.

Jishnu has previously served as Director of Private Equity for India and South East Asia at The Invus Group and Partner at Bain & Company, and earlier as Global Head of Strategy at Godrej Consumer Products, where he played a key role in shaping growth across international markets.

He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, where he was recognised on the Director’s Merit List for his academic achievements.

He lives in Mumbai with his wife, Anannya, and their two daughters, Aashni and Aarini. A passionate football fan and sports enthusiast, he is also an avid runner.
