Sujit Patil

Sujit Patil is Chief Communications Officer at Godrej Industries Group, where he leads the Group’s communications and reputation strategy across a diverse portfolio of businesses and stakeholders. An engineer by training and a communicator at heart, Sujit brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and storytelling to his role.

With over two decades of experience, Sujit is one of the few IABC-accredited business communicators in India and a member of the prestigious Arthur W. Page Society. He has been recognised globally with three International Gold Quill awards and was named among India’s Top Ten Men in Corporate Communications by Reputation Today. From 2018 to 2025, he featured in Provoke Media’s Influence 100, the definitive global index of the world’s most influential in-house communications leaders, and received the SABRE Individual Achievement Award in 2024.

He is the co-author of The Pursuit of Reputation (Westland Business, 2023) and is a sought-after speaker and jury member at leading communications forums worldwide. Sujit holds an engineering degree, a master’s in marketing, and a diploma in advertising and PR.

Outside work, Sujit volunteers as a guest faculty at leading business schools, mentoring the next generation of communicators with authenticity and purpose. He enjoys weekend farming, travelling, and exploring new cultures and cuisines, believing that curiosity and empathy are at the heart of great communication.
